If you're planning a vacation, whether alone or for family, friends or that special someone; one of the most popular options available today is an all-inclusive resort. All-inclusive isn't just about getting more; it's about getting better. It's about the best beaches, premier accommodations, world-class chefs, world-recognized golf and tennis pros, and so much more. Let me introduce you to the all-inclusive experience!
All-inclusive and optional all-inclusive typically offer year-round recreation and the ultimate in luxury. Some all-inclusive resorts cater only to adults, while others accept just couples. Most all-inclusive resorts, however, are geared toward families, with facilities like craft centers, game rooms and water parks designed to keep guests of all ages entertained. All-inclusive resorts are also very popular locations for destination weddings.
Food and drinks can easily drive up the cost of your vacation, especially when you have children, so staying at an all-inclusive resort is ideal. Room service, beachfront grills, cafés and smaller eateries, buffets, gourmet restaurants; every bite is included. Plus, depending on the resort, your premium drink selection may be upgraded to top-shelf when you select the all-inclusive package.
All-inclusive plans also include taxes and gratuities; however, you may want to make your stay more enjoyable by tipping your server or bellhop a few bucks. Also, most all-inclusive resorts offer complimentary transportation from the airport to your resort and back, but tips generally are not included for these transfers. Activities included seem endless and may overwhelm those simply wanting to relax on the beach. Regardless, there are always many options to choose from, ranging from Spanish language lessons to windsurfing to beach volleyball and nightly entertainment. Remember, though, to watch out for activities that may not be included, like motorized watersports.
Overall, all-inclusive and optional all-inclusive resorts offer a superb value over traditional resorts, especially if you have a larger group, but it’s only worth it if you use many of the services and amenities provided. If you’re planning on spending much of your time on the beach or sightseeing outside of the resort, for instance, paying for activities you may not use during your stay wouldn’t give you’re the intended value of the all-inclusive plan. But, if you want to enjoy worry-free dining, entertainment and recreation, then go all-inclusive and save!
